For the first time in 2025, the CARS Tour is in action in back-to-back weeks. Just seven days removed from last weekend’s race at Orange County Speedway, the Tour will be back in action on Saturday night at Altamahaw, North Carolina’s Ace Speedway for another doubleheader for the Late Model Stock Cars and the Pro Late Models.

The zMAX CARS Tour announced its 2025 schedule on Monday afternoon, with an impressive 15-race schedule featuring some big changes. The Southeast’s premier Late Model Stock Car and Pro Late Model touring series will kick off its season on Saturday, March 1, and conclude its season seven months later on Saturday, October 18.

Another night, another wild race for the CARS Tour Late Model Stock Cars. It’s almost becoming routine at this point, although nobody is getting tired of these insane races that we’re seeing week-after-week. Especially not Brent Crews, who has taken the checkered flag in two of these crazy races now after he survived to win Friday’s 125-lap showdown at Ace Speedway.

For the second time in the 2024 season, both divisions of the zMAX CARS Tour will visit Altamahaw, North Carolina for a date at Ace Speedway.

On Tuesday afternoon, CARS Tour officials announced that Treyten Lapcevich had been disqualified from last Saturday’s “Window World 125” at North Wilkesboro Speedway after it had appeared that the Canadian rookie had scored his first series victory. Since the announcement was made, there’s been a lot of speculation, finger-pointing and accusations levied towards the series. So much so that CARS Tour co-owner Dale Earnhardt Jr. decided to address it on the video version of his podcast, the “Dale Jr. Download.”

Connor Zilisch, the recently turned 18-year-old from Mooresville, North Carolina, is quickly making his way up the NASCAR ladder. Barely more than a week removed from his 18th birthday, Zilisch announced on the “Dale Jr Download” that he would be moving up to the NASCAR Xfinity Series full time in 2025 for JR Motorsports.

CARS Tour officials announced Tuesday morning that Friday’s doubleheader at North Carolina’s Ace Speedway has been postponed one week due to the expected impacts of Hurricane Debby.

It’s now been more than 570 days since anybody not named Carson Kvapil has gone to CARS Tour victory lane at Ace Speedway. When the CARS Tour goes back to Ace Speedway later this year in August, it will have been 672 days since anyone other than Carson Kvapil had won a CARS Tour Late Model Stock car race at Ace.

The zMAX CARS Tour Late Model Stock Car and Pro Late Model divisions return to action this weekend at Ace Speedway in Altamahaw, N.C. with points battles heating up before the spring is half over. It’s the third race weekend this year in which both divisions will compete on the same night at the same track. This weekend’s events will mark the sixth and seventh races of the young season, and the ultra-competitive nature of the layout at Ace is sure to provide plenty of thrills. In addition to the zMAX CARS Tour, the Ace Limited Late Models and Champ Karts will be on the program for the evening.

As the calendar gets ready to flip from April to May, Kyle Larson’s life is about to get much busier with his first Indianapolis 500 attempt just weeks away. Larson announced on Sunday before the NASCAR Cup Series race at Dover that he would be missing practice and qualifying for NASCAR’s All-Star Race at North Wilkesboro Speedway in due to when qualifying for the Indianapolis 500 is schedule to take place.

On Monday afternoon, zMAX CARS Tour officials unveiled their 19-race schedule for the 2024 season, which will kick off at Southern National Motorsports Park in March, and end at the historic North Wilkesboro Speedway in mid-October.

It had amazingly been more than three months since defending CARS Tour champion Carson Kvapil visited victory lane before he took the checkered flag on Friday night at Ace Speedway. Kvapil's win ended a dry spell that dated back to May 5 when the series last visited the 4/10-mile Ace Speedway, and it completed a sweep of the series' two trips to the Altamahaw, North Carolina track.

After honoring their history in the USAR Pro Cup Throwback 225 at Hickory Motor Speedway, the Solid Rock Carriers CARS Tour turns their attention back to the present with a Friday night showdown in the AcceleratedGFX.com 240 at Ace Speedway.

Carson Kvapil picked up the hat trick on Friday night with a dominant wire-to-wire performance in the CARS Tour Late Model Stock Car 125-lap feature at Altamahaw, North Carolina's Ace Speedway. Some expected Kvapil to struggle a bit at Ace, but instead he won the pole and led all 125 laps to pick up his third win in a row and third win in the first four races of the 2023 season.

For the second race in a row, the CARS Tour Late Model Stock Car series boasts an entry list with more than 30 cars as the series goes bullring racing at Altamahaw, North Carolina’s Ace Speedway.
