Another night, another wild race for the CARS Tour Late Model Stock Cars. It’s almost becoming routine at this point, although nobody is getting tired of these insane races that we’re seeing week-after-week. Especially not Brent Crews, who has taken the checkered flag in two of these crazy races now after he survived to win Friday’s 125-lap showdown at Ace Speedway.

Crews was patient and clean all night while drivers like Ryan Millington, Brenden Queen, Connor Hall, Conner Jones, Treyten Lapcevich, and Chad McCumbee all fell by the wayside at some point by either being on the receiving end or the dishing-out end of some heavy contact throughout the last 50 laps.

But when it all was said and done, it was the rookie Crews who survived all of the chaos, as well as a late-race restart with a very hungry Mini Tyrrell alongside, to take the victory for the third time this season.

Crews held off Tyrrell, Caden Kvapil, who was making his debut in his older brother Carson’s No. 8 for JR Motorsports, Queen, and Hall to take the win. McCumbee, Buddy Isles Jr., Isabella Robusto, Lapcevich, and Jones completed the top 10.

The CARS Tour will be back in action in just one week’s time at the quarter-mile bullring of Wake County Speedway in Raleigh, North Carolina with just five races remaining on the 2024 calendar.
