CARS Tour Reveals 2024 Schedule; Two Dates At North Wilkesboro Speedway
The zMAX CARS Tour will run 19 races across both divisions in 2024 from March to October with two races at historic North Wilkesboro Speedway.
On Monday afternoon, zMAX CARS Tour officials unveiled their 19-race schedule for the 2024 season, which will kick off at Southern National Motorsports Park in March, and end at the historic North Wilkesboro Speedway in mid-October.
“There is a lot to unpack and a lot to be excited about this season – two trips to North Wilkesboro and adding Orange County to the schedule,” said CARS Tour co-owner, Dale Earnhardt Jr. “It’s going to be tough competition for the drivers and a great show for our fans in the stands, and for those watching on FloRacing. Our partnership with FloRacing has helped tremendously in building exposure and excitement around the zMAX CARS Tour. I’m looking forward to that continuing.”

As Earnhardt Jr. eluded to, the CARS Tour will visit the historic North Wilkesboro Speedway twice in 2024, first in mid-May, and again in mid-October. The Pro Late Model division will kick off NASCAR’s All-Star week on Tuesday, May 14, and the Late Model Stock Cars will headline racing action on Wednesday, May 15.
The zMAX CARS Tour will return to North Wilkesboro on Saturday, October 19 for the season finale where the champions for both divisions will be crowned.
The zMAX CARS Tour will also return to Rougemont, North Carolina’s Orange County Speedway on Saturday, April 20 following a year away from the schedule. Orange County Speedway had been on the calendar every year since the CARS Tour’s inception in 2015 until 2020. It returned to the calendar in 2021 as the host of that year’s Old North State Nationals, which was won by Josh Berry.

The division will race at SNMP, New River All-American Speedway, Hickory Motor Speedway, Orange County Speedway, Ace Speedway, North Wilkesboro Speedway, Tri-County Speedway, Langley Speedway, Dominion Raceway, Caraway Speedway, Wake County Speedway, Florence Motor Speedway, and South Boston Speedway.
The Pro Late Model division will run a 13-race schedule in 2024. All but two of those races will be held as doubleheaders with the Late Model Stock Car division. The season-opener for the Pro Late Models on Saturday, March 2 will be a stand-alone event, as will their race at North Wilkesboro Speedway on Tuesday, May 14.
