On Monday afternoon, zMAX CARS Tour officials unveiled their 19-race schedule for the 2024 season, which will kick off at Southern National Motorsports Park in March, and end at the historic North Wilkesboro Speedway in mid-October.

When Timmy Tyrrell was six years old, his friend was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Even as a six-year-old, the kid known as “Mini” knew he had to find a way to help his friend, Ella, and her family. At an age when many kids are just focused on what they’re going to wear to school the next day, Tyrrell was starting a foundation with the aid of his parents to raise money for kids like Ella who were fighting pediatric cancer and “Mini’s Mission” was born.

Saturday's CARS Tour 125 at Virginia's Dominion Raceway will go down as one of the most memorable races in CARS Tour history. A three-way battle for the lead between Brenden Queen, Carson Kvapil, and Bobby McCarty resulted in a photo-finish at the checkered flag after a crazy three-wide fight with all three drivers bouncing off each other down Dominion's backstretch. In the end it was McCarty beating Queen to the line by just 0.009-second to break a winless streak that dated back to October of 2021.

The CARS Tour Late Model Stock Cars are headed back to the Commonwealth of Virginia this Saturday, this time to take on the state-of-the-art facility that is the Dominion Raceway in Thornburg, Virginia. 27 cars have filed entries for Saturday’s CARS Tour 125 presented by NAPA Auto Parts.

One year ago, Virginia’s Dominion Raceway hosted a Modified race for the first time in the track’s history. The SMART Modified Tour’s Craig Murto 99 was the first race for Modifieds at the Thornburg, Virginia 4/10-mile oval that opened in 2016, but it was apparent from the first practice laps that Dominion Raceway was made for Modified racing. It’s just that nobody had realized it until just then.

The entire NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series national championship battle comes down to this weekend. Layne Riggs, who has led the points standings nearly all season long, leads the two-time and defending national champion Peyton Sellers by four points heading into the final weekend of the season.
