Competitors in the zMAX CARS Late Model Stock Car Tour will get a chance to showcase their talent in front of its largest audience in history thanks to a co-distribution/co-production agreement between FloSports and Fox Sports for All-Star Race weekend at North Wilkesboro Speedway.

The zMAX CARS Tour announced its 2025 schedule on Monday afternoon, with an impressive 15-race schedule featuring some big changes. The Southeast’s premier Late Model Stock Car and Pro Late Model touring series will kick off its season on Saturday, March 1, and conclude its season seven months later on Saturday, October 18.

North Wilkesboro Speedway is now in the books and it will go down as one of the most dominant performances of Justin Bonsignore’s illustrious career. He may not have started from the pole, and he may not have led every lap, but he left only five cars on the lead lap and won by 6.473 seconds at the historic facility.

A strong field of Modifieds will descend on North Wilkesboro Speedway (NC) on Saturday October 19th for “The Finale” at North Wilkesboro Speedway. The SMART Modified Tour powered by Pace-O-Matic’s Championship race coincides with the CARS Tour title races giving the fans three races that crown series’ champions on one day.

A long, grueling season for the zMAX CARS Tour will conclude with two champions being crowned at North Wilkesboro Speedway on Saturday evening.

Three-time SMART Modified Tour powered by Pace-O-Matic champion Burt Myers scored his first win of 2024, in the Battle of SOBO, on Hitachi Energy Power-Up Raceday, Saturday at South Boston Speedway in Virginia. Myers, from Walnut Cove, NC, took the lead for the second and last time during a restart on lap 86 from Mike Speeney, from Newtown, PA. The Citrusafe Grill Cleaners number-1 then held off Ryan Newman, from South Bend, IN, and Jake Crum, from Statesville, NC, for the victory, his first at the southern Virginia race track.

The CARS Tour season is down to just two races, with two drivers vying for the right to call themselves a champion. It’s the showdown everyone has been hoping for with Hampton, Virginia’s Connor Hall battling Chesapeake, Virginia’s Brenden “Butterbean” Queen, with just one point separating these two bitter rivals heading into Saturday’s showdown at Tri-County Speedway.

NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour and North Wilkesboro Speedway officials announced Thursday that the previously postponed Brushy Mountain Powersports 150 has a new race date. The race will now take place on Sunday, October 20 at the famed short track in the North Carolina foothills and will now become the penultimate race on the 2024 calendar.

The NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour was set to return to the legendary North Wilkesboro Speedway on Saturday night, but that return will have to wait a little bit longer as a result of the catastrophic damage that Western North Carolina has suffered after Hurricane Helene. NASCAR officials announced Monday afternoon that Saturday’s race has been “postponed indefinitely.”

With a stretch-run for the SMART Modified Tour just one race away, series officials have announced the “SMART 3” Playoff format.  The playoff will determine the final series standings and 2024 SMART Modified Tour powered by Pace-O-Matic champion.

On Tuesday afternoon, the CARS Tour Appeals Panel voted to amend the penalty levied against Chad Bryant Racing for an unapproved part on Treyten Lapcevich’s No. 77 Late Model Stock Car following the event at North Wilkesboro Speedway earlier this month.

CARS Tour officials dropped a bombshell Tuesday afternoon as rookie driver Treyten Lapcevich has been disqualified from Saturday’s Window World 125 at North Wilkesboro Speedway for an infraction found in post-race technical inspection. Corey Heim is now being declared the winner of Saturday’s race at the historic speedway.
