The Red Line Oil Professional Drag Racers Association Drag Racing Series kicks off its 2025 campaign this weekend, and you don’t want to miss a minute of the action from the GALOT Motorsports Park in Benson, North Carolina. 

The Summit Racing PDRA East Coast Nationals presented by FuelTech, set for April 2-5, is the first of eight events on the 2025 PDRA Drag Racing Series schedule.

The engines will roar beginning with open testing Wednesday afternoon and Thursday morning. Official qualifying will get underway early Thursday afternoon. 

Heading into the new Red Line Oil PDRA Drag Racing Series campaign, drivers and teams can look forward to competing for increased payouts, new sponsors and more, announced during a special PDRA press event at the Performance Racing Industry Show in December. 

The overall championship payouts have been increased by more than $100,000, with $25,000 awarded to the champions in the top-tier Pro Nitrous and Pro Boost categories. In all, team will be competing for nearly $200,000 in PDRA world championship prizes. 

The PDRA Drag Racing Series includes seven main classifications – Pro Nitrous, Pro Boost, Pro Street, Extreme Pro Stock, Pro 632, Super Street and Pro Extreme Motorcycle – plus four sportsman divisions and two Jr. Dragster categories.
