Top Fuel’s Shawn Langdon won for a second straight year at Firebird Motorsports Park on Sunday, powering past Kalitta Motorsports teammate Doug Kalitta in the final round in front of a sellout crowd at the 40th annual NHRA Arizona Nationals.

As the NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series starts its 74th season in Gainesville, reigning Pro Stock and Pro Stock Motorcycle champions Greg Anderson and Gaige Herrera will be ready to defend their world championships against a pair of highly competitive fields at this weekend’s 56th annual Amalie Motor Oil NHRA Gatornationals.

The inaugural Drag Illustrated Winter Series presented by J&A Service will reach its dramatic finale this weekend when the series crowns its first-ever champion at the Drag Illustrated World Series of Pro Mod, Feb. 27-March 1, at Bradenton Motorsports Park. More than 80 Pro Mod drivers from across North America and beyond will compete for the $150,000-to-win event title, while a select few racers are in contention for the $25,000 championship bonus after the first two races of the series.

For the second and third years, respectively, the Pro 10.5 Challenge and the Mountain Motor Pro Stock Invitational will join Pro Modified in the World Series of Pro Mod lineup at Bradenton Motorsports Park. Like Pro Mod, both supporting classes are expecting their largest fields yet, with both competing for $25,000 winner-take-all paydays. The PRO Superstar Shootout will highlight select drag-and-drive competitors in exhibition races during the star-studded three-day event. The Red Line Synthetic Oil Professional Drag Racers Association (PDRA) announced today its eight-race 2025 schedule, coming after a successful campaign through the 2024 calendar year. The series will return to the six familiar racetracks throughout the East Coast and Midwest that they ventured to in 2024 yet again, starting at GALOT Motorsports Park and finishing at Virginia Motorsports Park, as in years past.
