BRASSTOWN, N.C. — Mother Nature has struck one final blow on the inaugural Castrol® FloRacing Night in America tour. Forecasts calling for persistent rain this Thursday and Friday at Tri-County Racetrack have forced track and series officials to postpone this week’s FK Rod Ends Tarheel 50 presented by Jacky Jones Automotive Group at the North Carolina bullring.

Brasstown, N.C. — A wet week with more rain to come has again impacted the inaugural season for Castrol® FloRacing Night in America. The 18th annual FK Rod Ends Tarheel 50 presented by Jacky Jones Automotive Group originally slated for this Thursday, October 7 at Tri-County Racetrack (Brasstown, N.C.) has been rescheduled for Thursday, October 28 and will now be the series’ 2021 finale.The rain date for the event will be Friday, October 29.“More of the same, that’s all you can say,” series general manager, Ben Shelton cynically shared. “It’s been raining there already this week, and it’s supposed to rain the rest of the week, so promoter Ray Cook decided to push the show to later in October. Hopefully, Mother Nature will finally be a race fan and we can get our remaining events at 411 Motor Speedway (October 12), Volunteer Speedway (October 20), and Tri-County Racetrack (October 28) completed.”

Brasstown, N.C. — Castrol® FloRacing Night in America invades Tri-County Racetrack (Brasstown, N.C.) on Thursday, October 28 for the 18th annual FK Rod Ends Tarheel 50 presented by Jacky Jones Automotive Group. The night’s program is headlined by a $10,000-to-win / $700-to-start, 50-lap feature at the ¼-mile bullring.

The purse for the ground-pounding Super Late Models is in excess of $30,000 and each feature starter will be earmarked at least $500.
