Castrol FloRacing Night In America At Tri-County Postponed
The Castrol FloRacing Night in America Tarheel 50 at Tri-County Racetrack has been postponed to October 28 due to wet grounds and a poor forecast.
Brasstown, N.C. ā A wet week with more rain to come has again impacted the inaugural season for CastrolĀ® FloRacing Night in America. The 18th annual FK Rod Ends Tarheel 50 presented by Jacky Jones Automotive Group originally slated for this Thursday, October 7 at Tri-County Racetrack (Brasstown, N.C.) has been rescheduled for Thursday, October 28 and will now be the seriesā 2021 finale.
The rain date for the event will be Friday, October 29.
āMore of the same, thatās all you can say,ā series general manager, Ben Shelton cynically shared. āItās been raining there already this week, and itās supposed to rain the rest of the week, so promoter Ray Cook decided to push the show to later in October. Hopefully, Mother Nature will finally be a race fan and we can get our remaining events at 411 Motor Speedway (October 12), Volunteer Speedway (October 20), and Tri-County Racetrack (October 28) completed.ā
The tour now returns to action on Tuesday, October 12 at 411 Motor Speedway (Seymour, Tenn.), where a $20,000 top prize will be on the line for the winner of the 50-lap feature
Jonathan Davenport resides atop the latest series standings. Kyle Larson has moved up to second with Bobby Pierce, Mike Marlar, Tanner English, Tyler Erb, Brandon Sheppard, Devin Moran, Boom Briggs, and Ryan King rounding out the current Top 10 in the standings.
General admission is $30 (ages 13-and-up) and $5 (ages 12-and-under). Pit passes and tier parking is $40 (ages 13-and-up) and $5 (ages 12-and-under).

Along with the Super Late Model program, 604 engine Crate Late Models will chase a $1,500-to-win purse and 602 engine Crate Late Models will battle for $1,000-to-win.
Pit gates open at 1 p.m. and the grandstands at 3:30. The drivers' meeting is 6:00 pm EST with hot laps to follow.
