Week 2 of the final WinterNationals ever at East Bay Raceway Park begins Monday night with the first of six consecutive nights of UMP Modified racing. The traditional Modified Week event features five night of racing leading into Saturday's 75-lap, $5,000-to-win finale.

The final season of racing at East Bay Raceway Park in Tampa, Florida begins Thursday night with Crate Week for Crate Racin' USA Late Models and Street Stocks. Three nights of racing are on tap to kick off the final running of the traditional WinterNationals.

Drivers, teams and fans from various forms of motorsports are gearing up for one of the busiest stretches of the racing season this January and February. The traditional Georgia-Florida Speedweeks packs a big punch with oodles of racing events on both dirt and pavement taking place over a one-month period.

Kaylee Bryson is set to make another Winged Sprint Car appearance to begin her 2023 season. The Muskogee, Oklahoma native, who has become a familiar face on the USAC National Midget scene driving for Keith Kunz, will take on a very diverse schedule this season, beginning with the Winternationals at East Bay Raceway Park (FL) on February 15-18.

The 2022 Winternationals came to a thrilling conclusion as the annual Ronald Laney Memorial King of the 360s capped off five weeks of racing.

The Saturday finale of week 2 put the “winter” back in Winternationals with cold windy conditions reducing the fan count, but drivers turned in for the final night of competition.

The third night of the DIRTCar UMP Modified portion of the 2022 Winternationals resulted in the third winner of the week while the Top Gun Sprints saw a repeat winner in the 25-lap main.

The second night of the DIRTCar UMP portion of the 2022 Winternationals saw an increase in car count as well as the addition of the season opener for the Top Gun Sprints series. The pit area saw 63 Modifieds and 26 Sprints for a Thursday night racing.

After a Tuesday rainout, the DIRTCar UMP Modified portion of the 46th annual Winternationals got started on Wednesday with a field of 60 cars opening the program, representing 15 states.

It may be cold in many areas of the country but it's race season in the state of Florida.

The third and final event of the first week of the 46th annual Winternational brought afternoon drizzle and cooler temperatures, but the hearty race fans were treated to exciting on-track action. Three new winners were parked in Victory Lane throughout the night with nearly 90 cars in the pit area.

The second night of the 2022 Winternationals gave the competitors a chance to utilize what they had learned from the Thursday night opener. In many cases, the lessons were taken to heart, setting the stage for an exciting end of week one with Saturday’s features on tap.

With a busy schedule for the 2022 events, the Winternationals kicked off on a Thursday night with five divisions in action. Spectators enjoyed thrilling competition in wingless Mini Sprints, Thunderstock/V-8 Warriors, Micro Sprints, Gladiators and Street Stocks. After six lap preliminaries in each class, feature races encompassed 15 laps except for the Street Stocks, who competed for 20 circuits.

The second night of DIRTcar UMP Modified racing saw the field grow to 49 cars and exciting racing once again took center stage.
