East Bay Winternationals Begin With Street Stocks And More
The Winternationals at East Bay Raceway Park begin Thursday night with Street Stocks headlining five divisions of racing.
An action-packed month of racing at East Bay Raceway Park in Tampa, Florida begins Thursday night with the first race of the 2022 Winternationals.
Street Stocks, V-8 Warriors, non-wing Mini Sprints, Micro Sprints and Gladiators will be in action for three consecutive nights at the 1/3-mile dirt oval.
Each night, the stakes will be raised for Street Stock competitors with $400 going to Thursday's winner, $500 to Friday's winner and $1,000 going to the winner of Saturday's main event.
An open practice session was held for competitors on Wednesday night to set the stage for Thursday night's opener. Racing is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. ET on Thursday night.

Following Street Stock Week, the focus will shift to Modified Week for five straight nights of UMP Modified racing beginning next Tuesday, January 25.
After a few days of silence at East Bay, the action will resume on Thursday, February 3 with Crate Week for the Crate Racin' USA Late Models. Three nights of Crate Late Model racing will set the stage for six nights of Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series racing beginning February 7.
Sprint Cars take center stage on Valentine's Day (February 14) for the first of two All Star Circuit of Champions features. Four nights of 360 Sprint Car racing beginning February 16 will put a bow on the 2022 Winternaitonals at East Bay.
All of the Winternationals action except for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series will be live on FloRacing.
