Week 2 of the final WinterNationals ever at East Bay Raceway Park begins Monday night with the first of six consecutive nights of UMP Modified racing. The traditional Modified Week event features five night of racing leading into Saturday's 75-lap, $5,000-to-win finale. 

Modified week typically features some of the highest car counts witnessed during the month-long WinterNationals extravaganza. In 2023, 66 Modifieds competed in the finale at the 1/3-mile dirt oval in Tampa, Florida. 

This year's version of Modified Week will be the final version ever as the track is slated to close its gates for good at the end of the 2024 season. 

Drivers will kick off the week with three $1,000-to-win features on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday before the ante is upped to $1,500-to-win on Thursday and Friday. This all leads up to the 75-lap, $5,000-to-win main event on Saturday night. 

One year ago, Lucas Lee claimed the Modified Week finale for the second time in his career. Kevin Adams and Drake Troutman also earned feature victories during the five nights of racing.

A practice for Modified Week was held Sunday evening at East Bay Raceway Park with 40+ cars in attendance. 

Currently, 76 entries have been filed for Monday night's opener. The list of drivers currently entered can be viewed at the bottom of this story. 

Racing is slated to begin at 6 p.m. ET on Monday with heat races to follow. Three (and possibly up to four) features will be contested on Monday night.
