Landon Huffman has partnered with Justin Carroll’s Carroll Speedshop team out of Concord, North Carolina to take on the CARS Tour full time in 2025, as well as all three Virginia Triple Crown events, starting with this year’s Triple Crown finale, the ValleyStar Credit Union 300 at Martinsville Speedway this weekend.

The annual “Throwback 276” for the CARS Tour never fails to deliver on the race track and off. Landon Huffman hasn’t made a CARS Tour start since the end of May, but that will change this weekend at Hickory Motor Speedway when Huffman returns for the Throwback 276 with a new team and a special scheme honoring his father, Robert Huffman.

The CARS Tour returns to North Carolina’s Tri-County Motor Speedway this weekend for the first time since August’s thrilling Old North State Nationals that saw Landon Huffman go to victory lane and pocket a nice $30,000 check. With 30 cars entered for this Saturday’s 125-lap showdown, it’s sure to be another wild one.

The racing season has yet to conclude and already silly season for the CARS Tour is under way with the first domino falling on Thursday afternoon as Landon Huffman announced that he will not be back with the Nelson Motorsports team in 2024.

There were times in the last few years where Landon Huffman thought his racing career would be over. There were times when he thought he'd be lucky to just be a weekly racer.
