NASCAR Cup Series Drivers
Noah Gragson
Gragson, the 2018 Snowball Derby winner, returns to the race for the eighth time in his racing career. Gragson, who will drive for Front Row Motorsports on the NASCAR Cup Series circuit in 2025, has competed in the last two Snowball Derbys. He has recorded top-five qualifying efforts in both of those starts but finished 20th and 23rd.
Derek Kraus
Kraus, who competed in six NASCAR Cup Series races for Kaulig Racing in 2024, has made nine straight Snowball Derby starts dating back to his debut in 2015. Kraus recorded a best Snowball Derby finish of 15th in 2020.
David Gilliland
Gilliland, a NASCAR Cup Series veteran with 333 career starts, is getting back behind the wheel for another run at the Snowball Derby. Gilliland's last recorded start behind the wheel was a NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at Talladega Superspeedway on September 30, 2023. He previously made one start in the Snowball Derby, a 27th-place effort in 2019.
NASCAR Xfinity Series Drivers
William Sawalich
Sawalich, the two-time defending ARCA Menards Series East champion, will make his way to the Snowball Derby before kicking off his rookie season behind the wheel of the No. 18 Joe Gibbs Racing car in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. Sawalich finished 10th in his Snowball Derby debut one year ago.
Chandler Smith
With his plans for the 2025 racing season unknown, Smith will return to the Snowball Derby for the first time since he won the race in 2021. Smith, who won two NASCAR Xfinity Series races for Joe Gibbs Racing this past season, has not finished worse than seventh in six career Derby attempts.
Carson Kvapil
Before he embarks on his first full-time season with JR Motorsports in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, Kvapil will return to the Snowball Derby for his second attempt at winning the Tom Dawson Trophy. Kvapil, a two-time CARS Tour champion, finished 12th in his Snowball Derby debut in 2022. One year ago, he was in a qualifying position in the last chance race before being disqualified in post-race technical inspection.
NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Drivers
Ty Majeski
Already a two-time Snowball Derby winner, Majeski will return to this year's event on a high after winning the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series championship in 2024. Majeski has been one of the best at the Derby in recent years with podium finishes in five of his 10 starts since 2015.
Kaden Honeycutt
Honeycutt, the 2024 CARS Tour Pro Late Model champion, returns to the Snowball Derby before kicking off a full-time NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series effort with Niece Motorsports in 2025. He has four career Snowball Derby starts with a best finish of fifth in 2020. The Texas native kicked off this year's Derby by winning the Snowball Derby Preview "run for the money."
Jake Garcia
Garcia, who competed full-time with ThorSport Racing in 2024, returns to the Snowball Derby to make his sixth attempt. Garcia finished second in his Snowball Derby debut as a 14-year old in 2019 but failed to qualify for the race last December. Garcia is coming off a big win in the All American 400 at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway.
Dawson Sutton
As he prepares for his rookie season in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series with Rackley WAR in 2025, Sutton will make his way to Pensacola with the same team. Sutton will be making his Snowball Derby debut after a fourth-place finish in the Snowflake 100 last year.
