A new racing season will begin in Chico, California this weekend with the season-opening Silver Cup Race of Champions at Silver Dollar Speedway. The annual event will feature two nights of 360 Sprint Car racing on February 28 and March 1.

The Icebreaker 30 at Lincoln Speedway ushered in another Central Pennsylvania racing season on Sunday, a season where Sprint Cars will once again contest more than 100 races in the 410 ranks this year across the Keystone State.

After a few months of hibernation during the winter months, 410 Sprint Cars are ready to come out and play this weekend in the state of Pennsylvania. The first green flag of the 2025 season in PA Posse country is scheduled to wave this Sunday during the traditional Icebreaker event at Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, PA.

Random tire samples were collected throughout the 39th annual Chili Bowl Nationals powered by NOS Energy Drink and sent for testing. Results returned so far have confirmed that a sample collected during Friday’s event did not conform to benchmark. This brings the total to three drivers who failed to conform to benchmark during the 2025 event.

The entry list for Australia’s most prestigious Sprint Car event has been released ahead of this weekend, January 24-26’s Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic at Premier Speedway.  A total of 84 cars and drivers are expected to be on hand to race for the $40,000 awaiting the winner of the main event.

After five straight nights of preliminary action at the Chili Bowl Nationals, the lineups are set for Saturday's Driller Day in Tulsa, Oklahoma. On Friday night, Chili Bowl officials released the lineups for every race that will be held on Saturday.

Voting is now open for the 2025 Chili Bowl Best Appearing Car Award on FloRacing. Winners from each of the preliminary nights were selected by a fan vote to set up the final round that features five finalists.

A revised format first used in 2024 will be used to determine the first 10 starting positions in Saturday's 2025 Chili Bowl Nationals. The traditional pole shuffle featuring winners and runner-up finishers from preliminary nights has been tweaked compared to the format used prior to 2024.

Two-time defending Chili Bowl Nationals winner Logan Seavey took the lead from Gavin Miller with four laps remaining to claim his fourth Chili Bowl preliminary night win and his third straight Friday night victory.
