To get fans ready for the 57th Annual Snowball Derby, FloRacing has announced the upcoming launch of the “Drive to the Derby” video series. The two-week video series leading into the prestigious event at Five Flags Speedway will begin on Tuesday, November 19 and end when the FloRacing staff arrives in Pensacola on Tuesday, December 3.

Throughout the series, fans will be treated to a variety of videos that honor the history of the event and preview the biggest storylines entering this year’s edition of the race. Fans will also hear from drivers and other unique personalities that help make the Snowball Derby the most prestigious pavement late model race in America. 

“The Snowball Derby is a true passion for many of us at FloRacing and I can't express how excited I am to introduce this incredible race and the personalities that make it special to a new audience,” said Matthew Dillner, Senior Racing Producer for FloRacing. “We are working hard to bring a wide variation of stories to make up the Drive to the Derby series. Of course we hit the big stars, but we also talk to legends of the past and search for stories in the shadows. Our goal is to showcase this race the way it deserves to be showcased.”

Stops on this year’s Drive to the Derby will include a day spent with with Bubba Pollard in his hometown of Senoia, Georgia, an extended chat with Stephen Nasse in the mountains of North Carolina, plus stops at Florence Motor Speedway (SC), Berlin Raceway (MI) and more. 

All of that is just scratching the surface on the 15+ videos we’ll be bringing you on this year's journey to Pensacola, Florida. 

The inaugural Drive to the Derby video series will coincide with the first-ever live broadcast of the Snowball Derby on FloRacing.
