It's been months since we've heard from the 16-time NHRA Funny Car Champion John Force. After his horrific top end incident in Virginia, he spent months in the ICU, hospital and rehabilitation centers as the drag racing community held their breath. 

Today, John Force Racing posted a video message from "The Goat" himself. In the video he thanks fans, his team, his family and the drag racing community for their support during his recovery. He even mentions that he may be attending Las Vegas as a spectator to support Austin Prock, Brittany Force and Jack Beckman. 

We will keep you updated as we hear more from the Champ and how his recovery continues. We speak for the entire motorsports community when we say today was a good day for our sport.
