2023 World Series of Pro Mod Champion and Pro Mod standout, Spencer Hyde has again teamed up with Paton Racing to compete in Top Fuel at the NHRA Fall Nationals and Stampede of Speed at Texas Motorplex.

“I am excited to be getting back into the fuel car in Dallas,” Spencer said. “It wasn’t really on the radar but Todd (Paton) called me a couple of weeks ago and we worked out the details to make it happen with collective effort. The state of Texas offers up some travel money to the Pro teams to ease the burden a little which is absolutely awesome and allows us to make this happen again.”

This is not the first time Hyde and Paton have teamed up. They had an exciting weekend at the NHRA Finals in Pomona last November, and participated in a match race together in Lancaster, New York earlier this summer.

“Looking forward to our return to an NHRA National Event with Spencer Hyde behind the wheel of our Top Fuel Dragster,” said Team Owner, Todd Paton. “His NHRA debut at Pomona last year was memorable for a variety of reasons, not the least of which was his 3.778 second, 323.27 mph run, which is the team's best performance to date. We hope to improve on this at the upcoming race in Ennis.”

The Stampede of Speed leads into the Texas Fall Nationals as the ‘fastest 10 days in motorsports’ and is a tour favorite amongst drivers, teams, and fans alike. With concerts, bull-riding, fan-fest, Champions Dinner, JEGS AllStars, NHRA Division Events, and the NHRA National Event, Spencer and Paton Racing couldn’t miss the opportunity to compete at Texas Motorplex.

“I’m especially excited to run the Texas Fall Nationals for so many reasons,” said Hyde. “I’ve never raced there and to be a part of The Stampede of Speed as a competitor is awesome. The Meyer family puts on such an incredible event and I’m so proud to pilot the Paton Racing Dragster in Texas.”

Qualifying begins Friday, October 11 with final eliminations concluding on Sunday. The event will be streamed live on NHRA.TV and on FS1 throughout the weekend. For more information on TV times, visit NHRA.com
