The 42nd edition of Ohio Sprint Speedweek is just a few days away from kicking off, so we wanted to make sure you were fully caught up on the schedule, broadcast information, and everything else you need to know.

HARTFORD, Ohio -- Mother Nature may have done her best to ruin Sharon Speedway’s 15th Annual Lou Blaney Memorial on Saturday evening, July 8, but not even her persistence could keep the “Sunshine” from dominating action, as Clauson Marshall Racing’s own Tyler Courtney was the eventual $10,000 winner, leading every circuit of the 35-lap contest to clinch his first-ever Tezos All Star Circuit of Champions presented by Mobil 1 main event victory at the eastern Ohio staple.

BROWNSBURG, Ind. -- Activating the month of July in a big way, the Tezos All Star Circuit of Champions presented by Mobil 1 are ready to get back to work, setting aim on a pair of starts in the Empire State and Buckeye State on Friday and Saturday, July 7-8. The weekend pair, just the tip of a full July slate featuring ten events across six states, will award a total winner’s share reaching $25,000, all of which blasting off with a $15,000-to-win showcase Friday evening at Ransomville Speedway in Ransomville, New York.

HARTFORD, Ohio -- Republic, Ohio’s Cap Henry has certainly developed a soft spot for Hartford, Ohio’s Sharon Speedway, and for the second time in 2022, the ace of the Lane Racing No. 4 parked it on the speedway’s front stretch victory lane, doing so by claiming the annual Lou Blaney Memorial title for a $12,000 Tezos All Star Circuit of Champions presented by Mobil 1 payday.

HARTFORD, Ohio -- Although denied a Buckeye Cup victory in April as the result of a last-ditch effort maneuver by Lane Racing’s Cap Henry, the “Myerstown Missile” Brent Marks found $6,000 worth of redemption Friday night in Sharon Speedway’s Sharon Nationals opener, securing not only his first-ever Tezos All Star Circuit of Champions presented by Mobil 1 victory at the Hartford, Ohio, oval, but simultaneously securing his fourth Series victory of the season, bumping his career total to eight in the process. The 2022 Dean Knittel Memorial champion, a $20,554 All Star triumph at Portsmouth Raceway Park, commenced his winning charge from the front row, taking command from Bill Balog on lap eight and never looking back.

HARTFORD, OH -- Although recently concluding a busy summer stretch that included seven events in ten days, the Tezos All Star Circuit of Champions presented by Mobil 1 show no signs of slowing down, as “America’s Series” is set to ignite the month of September with a heavy-hitting weekend in northeast Ohio.

HARTFORD, OH -- Norman, Oklahoma’s Christopher Bell was the man to beat in Tuesday night’s Cometic Gasket Ohio Sprint Speedweek presented by Hercules Tires visit to Sharon Speedway in Hartford, Ohio, eventually leading all 30 circuits of round five to pick up his first Tezos All Star Circuit of Champions presented by Mobil 1 main event victory of the season, nailing down a $6,000 payday in the process. Certainly no stranger to victory lane at Sharon Speedway, the win bumps his career All Star total to three at the northeast Ohio speed plant, simultaneously raising his career total to seven since attaining his first at Kokomo Speedway in 2016.

After turning left and right this past weekend at Sonoma Raceway, NASCAR Cup Series stars Alex Bowman and Christopher Bell are ready to sling dirt behind the wheel of Sprint Cars this week in Ohio. Bowman and Bell have joined the Tezos All Star Circuit of Champions for the final six races of Ohio Sprint Speedweek.

It was down to the wire for Cap Henry and Lane Racing in Sharon Speedway’s annual Buckeye Cup, ultimately scoring their first Tezos All Star Circuit of Champions presented by Mobil 1 victory of the 2022 season with an epic final corner dive and drag race over Myerstown, Pennsylvania’s Brent Marks. Henry, who led just the final half-straightaway of the 30-lap Buckeye Cup program, made his winning move when Marks attempted to clear a bundle of slower traffic in the final corner, opening the door for Henry to squeeze through on the bottom and out sprint Marks to the line.

BROWNSBURG, Ind. -- Transferring their attention from one side of the state to the other, the Tezos All Star Circuit of Champions presented by Mobil 1, led by current championship point leader and three-time winner, Tyler Courtney, will continue their 2022 campaign with a visit to “Steeler Country,” activating their upcoming three-race weekend with a stop at the famed Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania, on Friday evening, April 29.

Kyle Larson proved Saturday night that not even “the reaper” could kill his winning momentum.

After a two weekend hiatus, Tony Stewart’s FloRacing All Star Circuit of Champions presented by Mobil 1 will resume the 2021 season with a multi-race stretch through southern New York and eastern Ohio, set to headline three events over three days at two different facilities. Action will kick-off, officially, with a one night stay at Stateline Speedway in Busti, New York, on Friday, July 9. The lone All Star visit to the Empire State will award a $6,000 payday.

This was a rumble that originated in Hartford Township but surely spread across Ohio and Pennsylvania, eventually rocking Cleveland and perhaps even producing a small tsunami that rippled throughout Lake Erie.

Ohio Sprint Speedweek continues this week with visits to Wayne County Speedway, Sharon Speedway, Waynesfield, Muskingum, Limaland, and Portsmouth Raceway.
