The Missouri-based Lucas Oil Midwest LateModel Racing Association, one of Dirt Late Model racing longest-running and most successful regional tours, has been dissolved, the Lucas Oil racing organization announced today.

Former Black Diamond house car driver Earl Pearson Jr. is returning to the Ronnie Stuckey-owned operation this weekend at Missouri's Lucas Oil Speedway on the Lucas Oil Midwest LateModel Racing Association, the Black Diamond team announced Wednesday evening.

Wheatland, Missouri – A short week awaits the drivers and race teams of the Lucas Oil MLRA, as the series makes a quick turn-around and heads north for three nights of racing in the Hawkeye state starting this Thursday April, 18. The series is coming off a successful opening weekend at the Lucas Oil Speedway which saw Jonathan Davenport topping the field of 44 entries both nights.

The Lucas Oil Midwest Late Model Racing Association (MLRA) will kick off their 2024 season in record breaking fashion this weekend, when the series invades the Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri for the 11th Annual MLRA “Spring Nationals” Presented by Arizona Sport Shirts.

Earl Pearson Jr. announced Friday he and his Jason Rauen-owned team will tour this season with the Lucas Oil Midwest LateModel Racing Association, the 25-race series that campaigns at racetracks within the Farley, Iowa-based operation's home state as well as Illinois, Kansas and Missouri.
