The final season of racing at East Bay Raceway Park in Tampa, Florida begins Thursday night with Crate Week for Crate Racin' USA Late Models and Street Stocks. Three nights of racing are on tap to kick off the final running of the traditional WinterNationals.

Many of dirt late model racing's biggest stars will be spread throughout the country this weekend with a smorgasbord of races being contested. With the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series season concluded and the World of Outlaws Late Model season hitting the homestretch, it's the time of year where many drivers are staying closer to home and chasing money in their region.

One of the most anticipated dirt racing events of the year in the Sunshine State will take place this weekend at All-Tech Raceway. The 27th annual Powell Family Memorial will bring together the Florida racing community to pay tribute to James Powell III and his family, several of whom lost their lives in plane crash nearly three decades ago.

For pro late model racers, the stage doesn't get any bigger than the FASTRAK World Championship at Virginia Motor Speedway. The richest race in pro late model racing returns Saturday, September 24 with a $50,000 winner's check on the line.

The second night of the Crate Racin’ USA 604 Late Models and 602 Sportsman saw a similar car count as 21 602s returned and the field of 604 Late Models grew to 76.

Following four nights of racing last week, UMP Modifieds have departed East Bay Raceway Park to make way for Late Models. Beginning Thursday night, the Crate Racin' USA Late Models and Late Model Sportsman will be in action for three straight nights of racing at the 2022 Winternationals.

With nearly 100 cars in the pit area, intense competition was expected for the opening night of the Crate Racin’ USA Dirt Late Model Series with two divisions. With 19 states represented, the 604 Late Models and 602 Sportsman cars offered a diverse field.

GEORGETOWN, DE – For the fifth consecutive time, Frenchtown, N.J.’s Billy Pauch Jr. claimed victory at the Georgetown Speedway in the ‘Mid-Atlantic Championship.’ The win was his second Bob Hilbert Sportswear Short Track Super Series (STSS) Fueled By Sunoco win of the 2021 campaign.

CHATHAM, LA -- In a script tailor-made for TV, Late Model racer turned YouTube sensation Joseph Joiner of Milton, Fla., led the final 65 laps of Saturday’s Super Bee 100 at Super Bee Speedway to earn a career-high $50,001 victory in the unsanctioned Crate Late Model event.

The richest Crate Late Model race of the year will be held this weekend at Super Bee Speedway in Chatham, Louisiana. Paying $50,001 to the winner, the Super Bee 100 has attracted drivers from throughout the Southeast region.
