It's Time For Crate Racin' At The East Bay Winternationals
Crate Racin' USA Late Models will take over East Bay Raceway Park for three nights of racing during the 2022 Winternationals.
Following four nights of racing last week, UMP Modifieds have departed East Bay Raceway Park to make way for Late Models. Beginning Thursday night, the Crate Racin' USA Late Models and Late Model Sportsman will be in action for three straight nights of racing at the 2022 Winternationals.
This year's Crate Week will feature a pair of $2,500-to-win 604 Late Model races on Thursday and Friday, leading into Saturday's $5,000-to-win main event.
602 Late Model Sportsman will race for $500 Thursday, $1,000 Friday and $2,500 during Saturday's finale.
Last year's Crate Week at East Bay featured a large increase in car count with 78 Late Models showing up for the opening event. Mark Whitener won the first two nights of racing before Kyle Hardy claimed the $5,000 finale.
Crate Racin' USA Late Models will have an opportunity to hit the track for the first time Wednesday night during an open practice session.
