High Limit Racing standout Corey Day will be making his NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series debut this week at Bristol Motor Speedway, it was announced Monday, as he looks to take the next steps on his journey towards the NASCAR Cup Series.

For the first time in the 10-year history of the Red Line Oil PDRA Drag Racing Series, the all-eighth-mile series will head to Tennessee’s Bristol Dragway this weekend for the Thunder Valley Throwdown. Set for Aug. 22-24, the Thunder Valley Throwdown is the sixth of eight championship events on the 2024 PDRA schedule. All 14 of the PDRA’s professional, sportsman, and Jr. Dragster divisions will be in competition at the legendary track known as “Thunder Valley.”

Eighteen-year-old Sprint Car star Corey Day will continue his racing development by making three ARCA Menards Series starts this season. In addition to his previously announced debut with Pinnacle Racing Group at Salem Speedway this Saturday, Day will also be competing in ARCA events at Bristol Motor Speedway on September 19 and Kansas Speedway on September 27.

Defending CARS Tour champion and current CARS Tour points leader Carson Kvapil will make his NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series debut next week at Bristol Motor Speedway for Spire Motorsports, the team announced Tuesday evening.

Jonathan Davenport was the winner in his SRX Series debut on Thursday, August 17 at Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, MO during the SRX finale. Davenport had to survive numerous slide jobs from Clint Bowyer to ultimately take home the win. Davenport started on the pole after collecting the most points after heat race action and led the entire 90 lap main event.
