Make no mistake about it, the World 100 at Eldora Speedway is one of the most difficult motorsports events to qualify for each year. Track owner Tony Stewart recognized that and announced Saturday that the starting lineup for the 52nd World 100 would be starting four additional drivers.

ROSSBURG, Ohio — The opening night of Hudson O’Neal’s big week at Eldora Speedway ended with a crumpled race car. A costly caution and ensuing restart helped Brandon Overton erase a two-second deficit — an advantage Madden had been protecting since regaining the lead from Hudson O’Neal on lap 18 — and carried the Evans, Ga., star to his third straight Dream victory Wednesday at Eldora Speedway.
