After a successful 2023 season, CARS Tour officials and FloRacing have reached an extension of their broadcast rights agreement that will see FloRacing remain as the official live-streaming partner of the CARS Tour in 2024, CARS Tour officials announced Monday afternoon.

Things just keep getting bigger and better for the CARS Tour Late Model Series as it embarks on its 10th season of competition as the Southeast’s premier asphalt late model series.

On Monday afternoon, zMAX CARS Tour officials unveiled their 19-race schedule for the 2024 season, which will kick off at Southern National Motorsports Park in March, and end at the historic North Wilkesboro Speedway in mid-October.

In May of 2023, Connor Zilisch formally announced his presence to the pavement Late Model world by winning the CARS Tour’s Pro Late Model 100-lap feature at Ace Speedway as a 16-year-old. Fast-forward less than a year and now Zilisch has formally announced his presence to the entire racing world by becoming a winner of the Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona at just 17 years old.

The full-time driver lineup for the 2024 CARS Tour Late Model Stock Car season is starting to take shape, and now R&S Race Cars is the most recent team to announce their roster. The Virginia-based team will have three cars competing full-time in 2024, anchored by two former champions of the series.

The 2023 CARS Tour was full of excellent racing and big moments from the second the season started at Southern National Motorsports Park back in March all the way through to its conclusion in November at Caraway Speedway. Now that the season is over, we've been tasked with figuring out what were the five best moments from a season that was chock full of them. Once we got started, we learned that task was no small ask. It was quite difficult to narrow down the season to just five moments, but we think we've come up with a list that's hard to argue against. As the 2023 NASCAR season came to a close in Phoenix last weekend, crews were already hard at work preparing for an action-packed week of racing at the famed North Wilkesboro Speedway for next year’s NASCAR All-Star Race, including resurfacing the 42-year-old track surface.

Brenden Queen did all he could do at Caraway Speedway. He put his Lee Pulliam Performance No. 03 on the pole, which clinched him the most poles bonus point. He led a lap and got a bonus point there. He led the most laps for another bonus point. And he went out and won the race, leading all 125 circuits on Saturday afternoon at the North Carolina short track. But in the end, it still wasn't enough to overcome his 21-point gap entering the race weekend to Carson Kvapil.

It’s hard to believe that the CARS Tour season is about to come to an end this Saturday at North Carolina’s Caraway Speedway, but with 15 races in the books we’ve only got one left. And entering season finale we have two drivers who have a chance to win the championship in Carson Kvapil and Brenden Queen.

The CARS Tour has issued its penalties following the multiple incidents that took place during and at the conclusion of the Pro Late Model portion of last Saturday’s Blue Ridge 250 at Tri-County Motor Speedway, one of which will have a tremendous effect on the championship battle.

There are nights at the race track that you just don’t forget. The weather was perfect, the racing was good, and the time spent with friends and family was well-spent. Saturday night at South Boston Speedway was one of those nights as the CARS Tour brought both divisions to the historic Virginia short track.
