One of the most beautiful backdrops in all of short track racing is coming to FloRacing in 2022, as Palmer, Alaska’s 1/3-mile oval at Alaska Raceway Park joins the platform for its entire NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series schedule.

Alaska Raceway Park sits about 40 miles to the northeast of Anchorage, Alaska and has the breathtaking views of the Matanuska Glacier behind it. With a strong NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series schedule, Alaska Raceway Park will have fans entertained throughout the entire season on FloRacing.

“Being able to showcase our NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series races to our family and fans across the globe is a great opportunity for us,” said Michelle Lackey Maynor, the owner and president of Alaska Raceway Park. “We're excited to show off our racers and our facility, and appreciate FloRacing and NASCAR for the partnership. 2022 is going to be a great season and the return of live-streaming to Alaska Raceway Park simply makes it that much better.”

The addition of Alaska Raceway Park to FloRacing’s live broadcast schedule continues to broaden NASCAR and FloRacing’s investment into grassroots racing.

FloRacing’s first broadcast from Alaska Raceway Park will be on Saturday, May 14, as the Late Models, Baby Grands and Legends open the season on the 1/3-mile oval.

The Late Models, Baby Grands and Legends will be in competition throughout the season until its conclusion at the season finale on Saturday, September 3.
