The stars of the CARS Tour West are back in action this weekend, and they’re back in Bakersfield, California at Kevin Harvick’s Kern Raceway. The Pro Late Models and Limited Pro Late Models headline the event along with the MMI Legends Tour, Keelan Harvick will be making his CARS Tour West Pro Late Model debut, and it’s all happening live on FloRacing.

What Divisions Are In Action?

The CARS Tour West is bringing two divisions to Kevin Harvick’s Kern Raceway this weekend. The Pro Late Models will headline the evening with a 100-lap race around the high-banked Southern California half-mile oval. The Limited Pro Late Models will be the first race of the night with their 75-lap feature.

The MMI Legends Tour West will run a 30-lap feature sandwiched in between the two Late Model races. And then to close out the evening will be features for the JR Spec, Crown Victoria, and Spec Racer divisions. 

Will Kevin Harvick Be Racing?

2014 NASCAR Cup Series champion Kevin Harvick will not be in competition due to his duties in the broadcast booth for NASCAR on FOX at Las Vegas Motor Speedway this weekend, but his 12-year-old son Keelan Harvick will be in action. The younger Harvick will be making his CARS Tour West Pro Late Model debut in the 100-lap feature. The race will also be Harvick’s first race ever in a Pro Late Model. Keelan Harvick was scheduled to make his Pro Late Model debut with the CARS Tour out east at New River All-American Speedway earlier this month, but he and his family made the decision to withdraw after he fell ill that morning.

Who Will Be Racing With CARS Tour West?

Along with Keelan Harvick, other rising talents like Isaac Kitzmiller, Vito Cancilla, Tristan Pena and Taylor Mayhew will be in action in the Pro Late Models. Drivers like Tanner Huddleston, Parker Malone, and Nash Youngren will be in action in the Limited Pro Late Model division.
