Corey Day’s path to the NASCAR Cup Series becomes more clearly defined as each day goes by, especially now that his 10-race NASCAR Xfinity Series schedule has been released. The 19-year-old driver will make his Xfinity Series debut on March 29 at Martinsville Speedway.

Day and Hendrick Motorsports announced that he was joining NASCAR’s most accomplished team back in January just as Day was getting ready to race the Chili Bowl Nationals. But now that the NASCAR season is officially underway, we now know what races Day will be running in 2025.

Day’s schedule is a mixture of intermediate tracks, short tracks, and road courses. The only thing missing from his 10-race schedule is a superspeedway start, though he just made his superspeedway debut in the ARCA Menards Series last weekend at Daytona International Speedway.

The Clovis, California native will run a total of five short track races out of his 10 starts. He will run both Martinsville Speedway races, as well as the August 2 race at Iowa Speedway (which just so happens to be right before the Knoxville Nationals begin), and the Bristol night race for the Xfinity Series on September 12.

Day will make three intermediate track starts this season beginning on May 3 at Texas Motor Speedway. He will also race on May 31 at Nashville Superspeedway, and on October 11 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

He will also be running two road course races in 2025 as well with a start coming at his home track of Sonoma Raceway, which is just a little more than three hours up the road from his home town. Day will also race the Charlotte ROVAL on October 4.

His maiden NASCAR Xfinity Series voyage will conclude on November 1 at Phoenix Raceway.

Day will be splitting the No. 17 HendrickCars.com Chevrolet with NASCAR Cup Series champion Kyle Larson, now two-time Daytona 500 champion William Byron, NASCAR Cup Series champion Chase Elliott, and eight-time NASCAR Cup Series winner Alex Bowman. Larson and Byron will each make two starts, while Elliott and Bowman will each make one appearance in the car this season.

Day told FloRacing back in January that he’ll be making “around 30” starts in a Sprint Car in 2025, plus the West Coast Midget races at the end of the year. Day also confirmed that he’ll be back competing at the Chili Bowl again next January.
