One of the biggest names at the Chili Bowl Nationals will not be in action this evening. “T-Mez” Thomas Meseraull is skipping his D-Main this evening due to the birth of his daughter earlier this morning.

The news broke when FloRacing’s guest reporter Braxton Flatt was told by Meseraull’s teammate, Garrett Benson, during the kid’s pit walk that Meseraull would be missing today’s Chili Bowl finale. The news was confirmed to FloRacing by team owner Tim Engler.
Meseraull posted a photo of his newborn daughter early Saturday morning and told his friends and followers that “we need help with a name.”
Meseraull was scheduled to start 14th in the first D-Main on Saturday evening after a disastrous prelim night earlier in the week.
