Sammy Swindell, the winningest racer in Chili Bowl history, is looking to add a sixth Golden Driller trophy to his name in 2025. On Wednesday, Jan. 15, Swindell is set to race in the preliminary rounds of the Chili Bowl Nationals 2025.

Despite not running a full racing schedule since 2015, Swindell has continued to race in the Chili Bowl Nationals.

“It comes natural to me and it's what I’ve always wanted to do, is race. It’s what I live for,” said Swindell.

Swindell is known for his innovative designs that he implements in his cars, with a number of Chili Bowl Nationals wins as a car owner.
