Chase Briscoe Reports Christopher Bell Is Returning To Chili Bowl

If you trust the reporting of NASCAR Cup Series star Chase Briscoe, it appears that Christopher Bell will be returning to the Chili Bowl Nationals in 2025. Briscoe, who will join Bell at Joe Gibbs Racing next season, made the announcement on X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday morning to get back at Bell for accidentally sharing news about Briscoe's racing plans in June.

Bell, a three-time Chili Bowl Nationals winner has been noticeably absent from the Chili Bowl entry list the past two seasons as he took a step back from dirt racing due to Joe Gibbs Racing's team policy. However, JGR recently reversed course on the team's policy and will allow drivers to compete in dirt racing on a race-by-race basis with team approval.

Ty Gibbs recently took advantage of the looser restrictions and made his USAC Midget debut during Turkey Night Grand Prix at Ventura Raceway.

Briscoe, who has a deep passion for dirt racing, officially announced he'd be joining Joe Gibbs Racing in June after Bell slipped up and spilled the news during a press conference at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

Both Gibbs and Bell are now expected to compete in the Chili Bowl in January. Briscoe has not yet announced his own intentions to compete in the race; however, he has entered the race every year since 2017.

Bell won three Chili Bowl's in-a-row from 2017-2019. With his first win in 2017, he became the first Oklahoman to win the event since 1994.

The 2025 Chili Bowl Nationals powered by NOS Energy Drink will be held January 13-18 inside the SageNet Center in Tulsa, OK. All six days of racing will be streamed live on FloRacing.
