Brandon Sheppard, More Qualify For Main Event At Gateway Dirt Nationals

Mike Spatola won the Super Late Models A-Main at the 2024 Gateway Dirt Nationals to win the $5,000 prize and qualify for the main event on Dec.7.

Brandon Sheppard and Ashton Winger were the other drivers to round the top three and make the big race for the grand prize.

The race concluded with Spatola finishing 1.359 seconds ahead of Winger and 2.004 seconds ahead of Sheppard as the three would lead the whole race to compete for the bigger picture in the coming days.

10 a.m. - Registration and credentials office opens

11 a.m. - Pits open, technical inspection begins

1 p.m. - Drivers’ meeting, fuel storage opens

2 p.m. - Grandstands open

3 p.m. - On-track activity

  • Late Model hot laps
  • Late Model time trials
  • Modified group qualifying

5 p.m. - Opening ceremonies

  • Late Model heats (8 laps)
  • Modified heats (8 laps)
  • Consolation races: Late Models (10 laps); Modifieds (8 laps)
  • Features: Late Models (25 laps); Modifieds (20 laps)
  • (Pit area cleared, closes one hour after final checkered flag)

2024 Castrol Gateway Dirt Nationals Tickets
