An enormous field of Dirt Late Models will be heading to The Dome at America's Center this December. During a live preliminary night draw on Sunday, a field of 150 drivers was revealed for the 2024 Castrol Gateway Dirt Nationals, which will be held December 5-7 in St. Louis. 

The number of drivers on the current entry list surpasses last year's mark of 145 drivers who had entered prior to the preliminary night draw.

Drivers have been split into two field for Thursday and Friday's preliminary nights, with 75 drivers competing during each night. A pair of preliminary nights will set the stage for the main event on Saturday, December 7. 

Both preliminary night groups will be stacked with talent as drivers attempt to lock themselves into the main event on Saturday, December 7. 

Thursday's preliminary group will be headlined by defending race winner Brandon Sheppard. B-Shepp will be joined by the likes of 2022 winner Tyler Erb, two-time winner Tyler Carpenter, Joseph Joiner, Jimmy Owens, Brandon Overton, Jason Feger and Shannon Babb. 

Friday's preliminary group will be headlined by this year's most dominant Dirt Late Model driver Bobby Pierce, a two-time winner of the event. Pierce will be joined by the likes of 2024 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series champion Ricky Thornton Jr., Jonathan Davenport, Hudson O'Neal, Devin Moran, Tanner English and Carson Ferguson.
