The full Summit Racing Equipment Modified entry list for the Castrol Gateway Dirt Nationals is now available after the final invites were announced last week. 

A total of 64 invites were handed out to Modified drivers from across the country and across different Modified sanctioning bodies, including UMP, IMCA, USRA and the United States Modified Touring Series.

Reigning Gateway Dirt Nationals Modified champion Drake Troutman leads the pack for the December 5-7 event. Former champions inside the dome dot the entry list, which also includes recently-crowned Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series champion Ricky Thornton Jr., Mike Harrison, Ray Bollinge and Tyler Peterson.  

Local favorite and former NASCAR driver Kenny Wallace is back home looking to eclipse his preliminary night win from 2018.  Other drivers with preliminary night wins include Tanner Mullens, Chase Allen, and Jordan Grabouski.

Multi-time Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series champion Jimmy Owens returns to Gateway in a Modified for a second year, along with USMTS points leader Jim Chisholm, past USMTS champions Jason Hughes and Rodney Sanders, and 2024 DIRTcar Summer Nationals champion Mike McKinney.

A full list of Super Late Model drivers competing in this year's Gateway Dirt Nationals will be announced prior to the event. 

The Castrol Gateway Dirt Nationals return on Thursday-Saturday, December 5-7 at The Dome At America’s Center in downtown St. Louis, MO. The Velocita Super Late Models and Summit Racing Equipment Modifieds will battle it out over three days with a $30,000 top prize for Super Late Models and a $10,000-to-win main event for Modifieds.
