Frankie Muniz Announces His NASCAR Plans For 2025
"Malcolm in the Middle" star Frankie Muniz will run full-time in NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series in 2025.
Frankie Muniz has been working hard to live out his dream of racing full-time in any of NASCAR’s top three series, and finally in 2025 that dream will be realized. Muniz, the former child star of “Malcolm in the Middle,” will contest the entire 2025 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series schedule for Reaume Brothers Racing.
“This has been a dream of mine forever,” Muniz told People Magazine. “I grew up watching NASCAR. I was a huge fan, but it’s not something I necessarily thought that I’d ever get the opportunity to do.”
Muniz ran the entire 2023 ARCA Menards Series season and finished fourth in points that year. He finished fifth at Michigan, which was his lone top five that year. He also collected 11 top 10 finishes.
2024 was a bit of a transition year for Muniz as he was unable to find a full-time ride in any series. Instead, he made his Truck Series debut as well as his NASCAR Xfinity Series debut. Muniz ran two races across each division, and made a couple of ARCA starts as well.
Muniz will be racing the No. 33 Ford F-150 for Reaume Brothers Racing with backing from Ford Performance.
The 2025 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season kicks off on Friday, February 14 at Daytona International Speedway.
