Ron Capps Walks Away From Massive Explosion At NHRA Northwest Nationals
NHRA Funny Car World Champion Ron Capps escaped from his car following a massive explosion during the NHRA Northwest Nationals.
NHRA Funny Car World Champion Ron Capps escaped from his car following a massive explosion Sunday during the NHRA Northwest Nationals.
The explosion occurred during an exciting pedal fest against Gary Densham in Round 1 of eliminations.
The Funny Car Champion was able to get the car safely stopped after the explosion and making contact with both walls. Capps was able to walk away unharmed.
Eliminations continue Sunday, July 21 from Pacific Raceways in Kent, Washington.
