The Virginia Triple Crown kicks off this Saturday night with the annual Thunder Road Harley-Davidson 200 (South Boston 200) at South Boston Speedway live on FloRacing. From the entry list to event schedule and anything between, we’ve got you covered with everything you need to know about the South Boston 200.

What Is The South Boston 200?

The South Boston 200, also known as the Thunder Road Harley-Davidson 200, is the annual summertime spectacular for the Late Model Stock Cars at South Boston Speedway. The 200-lap showdown is also the first leg of the Virginia Late Model Triple Crown, along with the Hampton Heat at Langley Speedway and the ValleyStar Credit Union 300 at Martinsville Speedway.

The South Boston 200 has been won by some of the biggest names in Late Model Stock Car racing, but was dominated by Lee Pulliam who won the race a staggering six years in a row. Pulliam, now the owner of Lee Pulliam Performance (with Brenden Queen and Isabella Robusto as his drivers) also added a victory as a car owner when Corey Heim won the South Boston 200 in 2022.

What Divisions Race In The South Boston 200?

The South Boston 200 is a 200-lap Late Model Stock Car race. The same cars that race the CARS Tour, the Hampton Heat at Langley, the ValleyStar Credit Union 300 at Martinsville, and the South Carolina 400 at Florence Motor Speedway will be competing in Saturday’s South Boston 200. The Late Model Stock Car division is the headlining division at South Boston Speedway and at most race tracks across Virginia and the Carolinas.

The Limited Sportsman, Hornets, and Pure Stocks will serve as the support divisions on Saturday night.
