William Byron, JR Motorsports Reuniting For CARS Tour At Caraway Speedway
NASCAR Cup Series driver William Bryon and JR Motorsports are reuniting for the CARS Tour event at Caraway Speedway on July 3.
NASCAR Cup Series star William Byron will be reuniting with JR Motorsports to compete in the CARS Tour Late Model Stock Car race at Caraway Speedway on Wednesday, July 3. JR Motorsports announced the news via a social media post on Monday morning.
Byron, the 2024 Daytona 500 winner, will pilot a No. 24 Late Model Stock Car with sponsorship from HendrickCars.com.
Previously, Byron piloted a JR Motorsports Late Model during the 2014 season at Hickory Motor Speedway before going on to win the 2017 NASCAR Xfinity Series championship with the team.
The Charlotte native has never competed in a CARS Tour Late Model Stock Car race, but he does have a CARS Tour Super Late Model win on his resume. This will also be Byron's first start behind a Late Model of any kind during the 2024 season.
One year ago, Byron's Hendrick Motorsports teammate Kyle Larson made his Late Model Stock Car debut during the July CARS Tour race at Caraway.
Race fans unable to make it out to Sophia, North Carolina on July 3 will be able to watch the CARS Tour live on FloRacing. If you're not already a FloRacing subscriber, click here to sign up today.
