Bobby Pierce Has A Chance To Win $100,000 At Wild West Shootout
Bobby Pierce has a chance to win a $100,000 bonus on Sunday night if he can win his fifth race of the Wild West Shootout at Vado Speedway Park.
Bobby Pierce will have an opportunity to collect a $100,000 bonus on Sunday night during the Wild West Shootout finale at Vado Speedway Park. Pierce, who has won the last four Wild West Shootout Super Late Model features, will collect a Penske Paydirt Jackpot bonus prize of $100,000 should he win the $26,000-to-win finale for his fifth victory of the six-race miniseries.
The driver known as "The Smooth Operator" has picked up right where he left off following a 34-win season in 2023, a season that also included championships with the World of Outlaws Late Model Series, Castrol FloRacing Night in America and the XR Super Series.
Pierce opened the 2024 Wild West Shootout with a runner-up finish to Cade Dillard in the miniseries opener last Saturday before clicking off four straight wins on Sunday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.
With four wins to his credit, Pierce has already claimed a $25,000 Penske Paydirt Jackpot bonus prize. Now, he'll be looking to start his year with a big bang by upping that bonus to $100,00 on Sunday.
If Pierce is to claim the $100,000 bonus, he'll need to once again beat a stout field of Dirt Late Model stars that includes Kyle Larson, Brandon Sheppard, Mike Marlar, Tyler Erb and many others.
Sunday's action at the Wild West Shootout is slated to begin with hot laps at 3:30 p.m. MT / 5:30 p.m. ET. The night will be highlighted by a 50-lap finale for the Super Late Model division.
Fans unable to make it out to Vado Speedway Park will be able to watch all of the action beginning at approx. 3:15 p.m. MT live on FloRacing. If you're not already a FloRacing subscriber, click here to sign up today.
