The fifth and final night of preliminary racing for the 2024 Chili Bowl Nationals was held Friday night at the SageNet Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. A night that began with 80 drivers seeking Chili Bowl glory ended with one winner and two drivers earning guaranteed starting spots in Saturday's main event. 

Defending Chili Bowl winner Logan Seavey took the lead from Ryan Timms with two laps to go to score his second straight Friday night prelim win. Timms led 28 of the 30 laps on Friday before settling for second and locking himself in to Saturday's A-Main.
