Tuesday is as wide open, unpredictable and perhaps more fun than ever at the Chili Bowl. Look at last year’s wild race which saw local runner Hank Davis shock the world for all the proof you need.

There are currently 73 entries *tentatively* listed on the Chili Bowl website for Tuesday’s second preliminary. Let’s look at some of the stars to keep your eye on tonight on FloRacing.

Sand Springs, OK native Hank Davis returns with Matt Seymour Racing to try and make it back-to-back prelim win, determined to erase the “fluke” narrative and officially claim he’s here to stay at the Chili Bowl. The heaviest hitter is arguably Buddy Kofoid, who was leading last year’s prelim before a lap traffic crash destroyed his Golden Driller dreams. Buddy is back with redemption on his mind tonight, trying to keep Keith Kunz/Curb-Agajanian Motorsports undefeated this week.

Thomas Meseraull, a 10-time Championship A-Main starter, has a new home for the first time in years - now driving an Engler powered #7T. A former Tuesday winner himself, Zach Daum will try to bring iconic car owner Andy Bondio back to the big dance as he goes tonight in the No. 47X.

After Michael Pickens nearly locked-in last night, David Gravel will try to be one spot better than his teammate tonight as the World of Outlaws superstar debuts with USAC champions Abacus Racing. Following the footsteps of Shane Golobic’s lock-in run, California young gun Landon Brooks takes the wheel tonight for Matt Wood Racing. For another powerhouse in CB Industries, Tanner Holmes will be the pilot for Chad Boat’s machine tonight.

Dirt Late Model / Modified standout "The High Side Tickler" Kyle Strickler will also be in action on Tuesday driving for Chase Briscoe Racing.

Cousins Clinton Boyles for Big Dog Racing and Kameron Key for TKH Motorsports both enjoyed career-best Chili Bowl performances last year, and now they race against each other in Tuesday’s preliminary - trying to make their first Championship A-Main.

The first of three Alex Bowman Racing entries goes tonight with Kevin Thomas Jr. driving the Ally No. 55X. Other notable names expected to be in action include Parker Price-Miller, Jake Andreotti, Jake Bubak, Cap Henry, KJ Snow, and Jake Neuman, among others.
