Ryan Preece Flips Wildly During NASCAR Cup Series Race At Daytona
Ryan Preece flipped down the Daytona International Speedway backstretch during the closing stages of the 2023 Coke Zero Sugar 400 on Saturday.
During the late stages of Saturday's NASCAR Cup Series Coke Zero 400, Ryan Preece flipped an incredible 12 times down the backstretch at Daytona International Speedway.
With six laps to go in the 160 lap race, Preece found himself quickly airborne after contact with teammate Chase Briscoe. His car almost immediately lifted off the ground, digging into the Daytona infield and sending him into a wild series of flips.
Preece exited the car under his own power but was placed on a stretcher and taken by ambulance to the infield care center for further evaluation.
