NASCAR Cup Series star Chase Elliott will compete in the SRL National Super Late Model Battle At Berlin 250 at Berlin Raceway on Wednesday, August 9.

Elliott will be making his second start in the Battle at Berlin and his first since 2015.

The Battle at Berlin Raceway is the second major Super Late Model event of the year at the track, following the Money In The Bank 150 race that saw NASCAR Cup Series driver Erik Jones get the victory on June 7.

When Is The Battle at Berlin 250?

The Battle at Berlin 250 will take place on Wednesday, Aug. 9. Practice will take place from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. and qualifying will start at 5:45 p.m. 

The 250-lap race will begin when the green flag is waved at 6:30 p.m. 

Who Is Chase Elliott?

Chase Elliot is one of NASCAR's biggest stars and a five-time NASCAR Most Popular Driver winner. The 27-year-old has quite the resume. 

In 2014, he was named the NASCAR Nationwide Series Rookie of the Year and in 2016 he was named the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Rookie of the Year. Elliott’s biggest achievement came in 2020 when he became the 2020 NASCAR Cup Series champion. 

Elliott will be returning to familiar territory at the Battle at Berlin, as he's made five previous late model starts at the track.
