The premier pavement short track in the Pacific Northwest is returning to the FloRacing platform in 2023. The 5/8-mile Evergreen Speedway in Monroe, Washington will see three of its major events broadcast live on FloRacing.

Beginning on June 24, three of Evergreen Speedway’s biggest racing events will hit the FloRacing airwaves as part of the landmark rights agreement between NASCAR and FloRacing that made FloRacing the official home for all things NASCAR Roots, including the ARCA Menards Series, NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour, and a variety of NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series weekly racing tracks.

The first event will be the Mark Galloway Shootout on June 24. The Mark Galloway Shootout consists of two 75-lap features; one each for the Super Late Models and Pro Late Models on the big 5/8-mile oval. The Super Late Model winner will take home $5,000. Garrett Evans added to his already illustrious career by winning the 2022 edition of the Mark Galloway Shootout.

The second event to be broadcast on FloRacing from Evergreen Speedway in 2023 will be the 11th Annual Tire Pros Summer Showdown on July 22. Throughout its entire existence the Summer Showdown has been a 200-lap Super Late Model race, but this year’s race will be 50 laps shorter adding a new wrinkle to the event. Preston Peltier scored the victory one year ago, his fourth triumph in the Summer Showdown. This year’s winner will score a nice $25,000 payday.

The final race to be streamed on FloRacing from Evergreen Speedway will take place on August 19 when the ARCA Menards Series West rolls into town. Tanner Reif is the defending winner of that 150-lap event.

The Evergreen Speedway first opened as a race track in 1963 and has been holding racing events ever since. The 5/8-mile track is part of the Evergreen State Fairgrounds. Evergreen Speedway also consists of a 3/8-mile oval, a 1/5-mile oval, and a 1/8-mile dragstrip.
