Funny Car Chaos is back for 2023 and the largest funny car drag racing series in the world begins a new season of racing in true Texas fashion at Texas Motorplex on March 16-18 with the 3rd Annual Funny Car Chaos Classic.

An incredible location to host the first FCC event of the year, Texas Motorplex is situated in the heart of Ennis, Texas, and delivers an incredible experience for fans with showstopping battles and Texas-sized entertainment. The party atmosphere will be on point all weekend long, and more than 40 of the nation’s fastest flame-throwing Funny Cars have already pre-registered.

After qualifying, the 32 quickest of the nitromethane-fueled machines will go head to head to see who reigns supreme and to see who will take home the winner’s $5,000 purse in the A-field. Nearly twenty Outlaw Fuel Altereds will put on an old school show to demonstrate what outlaw drag racing was like in its heyday, and the famous Dirty South Gassers will gather on the property for their time to shine, too.

Kids ages 12 and under can enjoy free admission, but fans of all ages will love watching the jet dragster exhibition runs between rounds.
