Must-See Video: International 500 Snowmobile Race Decided By Photo Finish
The 54th edition of the International 500 Snowmobile Race in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan came down to the wire in the most thrilling conclusion to the race in its entire existence. First and second place were separated by less than an inch as they banged their way to the checkered flag. Joey Burch, racing for Tommie Bauer Racing, managed to beat Ross Erdman from D.L. Racing by 0.0001-second to win the biggest race in snowmobile oval track racing. The 500-mile race took more than nine hours to be run. The two front-runners reached the checkered flag with identical times at 09:05:32.486.
