SALAMANCA, N.Y. — The second day of AMSOIL Championship Snocross action at Seneca Allegany Resort & Casino brought high-intensity battles, edge-of-your-seat racing, and the chance for riders to sweep the weekend. With a fast, technical track that demanded both precision and endurance, racers left nothing on the table as the second half of the season officially got underway. From dominant performances to last-lap heroics, the championship picture is coming into sharper focus.

AMSOIL Championship Snocross continues it's Eastern swing with it's visit to Seneca Allegany Resort and Casino in Salamanca, NY this Friday and Saturday. Salamanca, N.Y. ~ AMSOIL Championship Snocross officials used every flake of available snow on the ground at the Seneca Allegany Resort & Casino to make the tight, technical track racers tackled this weekend.

Salamanca, N.Y. ~ While the tepid weather has settled on the Midwest portion of the United States, the upstate New York region faced the same roadblocks this winter. An unusually warm season set AMSOIL Championship Snocross’ return to Salamanca an impossibility one year ago. But the snow has fallen across the state, and with a stretch of colder weather, this year’s U.S. Air Force Snocross National returned with a bit of bar-to-bar racing.

2024 marks the 10th visit to Seneca Allegany Resort and Casino in AMSOIL Championship Snocross history. The region is among the top-5 places in the United States for trail riding and always provides a packed house of snowmobile enthusiasts and passionate face fans. With snowmobile trails right out the front door of the Seneca Allegany Resort & Casino hotel, snowmobile enthusiasts can ride their personal machines right up to the front gate on a good snow season. The state of New York has hosted AMSOIL Championship Snocross and former national circuits for a number of years at other locations in Vernon, Syracuse and Farmington, among others.

After having been relocated due to lack of snow 2023, anticipation to be back in Salamanca for the US Air Force Snocross National at Seneca Allegany Resort and Casino is at an all-time high. The full lineup of ACS national divisions are back in action. Check out the entry list below.

AMSOIL Championship Snocross competitors across the board likened the big, high-flying track that was laid out at ERX Motor Park for Friday night’s U.S. Air Force Snocross National as having a “supercross” flair to it.

The 2022-2023 AMSOIL Championship Snocross title chase continues. This time, an impromptu visit to the renowned ERX Motor Park in Elk River, MN. The US Air Force Snocross National presented by Dennis Kirk was originally slated to be held in Salamanca, NY but was relocated due to lack of snow in the area.

The snow is flying and Snocross racers are making their first laps of the season at the practice tracks which means the 2022-2023 AMSOIL Championship Snocross season is fast approaching. As racer registrations roll in, we have began compiling a list of names that you can expect to see on the upcoming National tour.

Mad Skills Snocross is being released in partnership with Amsoil Championship Snocross, which is the largest snowmobile racing series in the world.

We caught up with Snocross rising talent, Cecily Bernaiche, from Acworth, NH for a Snocross Q&A. Cecily was one of the most consistent riders in 2022 and came away with the runner-up position in the Jr Girls 9-13 division.

This fan-favorite event is hosted in prime snowmobile trail riding country and often provides a great turnout of East Coast, East Coast, and Quebec racers and fans alike. This event is held in conjunction with ACS affiliate, East Coast Snocross.

The 2022 championship chase continues in Deadwood, SD. The snowmobile shootout will take place at the baddest bullring on the circuit, the Days of ’76 Rodeo Grounds for the eighth visit in series history.
