NASCAR and Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park have postponed this weekend’s NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour event due to a forecast of continued rain and cold temperatures forecasted for Sunday. The race has been rescheduled for Saturday, April 5. The start time will be announced at a later date.

After more than a month off, the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour is set to brush the dust off and help break the ice on the racing season in the northeast. It was determined that he had an intestinal infection known as diverticulitis. The degree in which the condition had progressed required surgery.
