TX2K23 presented by Summit Racing Equipment returns to the Houston Raceway Park this week as drivers from round the country arrive in Houston for one of the premier drag racing events of the season.

Due to incoming weather, TX2K23 has made some schedule adjustments for the event at Houston Raceway Park this coming weekend.

The baddest no prep racers invade Odessa, Texas, on December 2-3, 2022 to throw down at Project X Promotions’ Winter Meltdown 7 No-Prep Shootout. Famous for being No Prep racing’s year-end party and holiday season kick-off, the event will run for the first time at Penwell Knights Raceway and is guaranteed to be one of Texas’s biggest no prep events!

Project X Promotions’ Winter Meltdown 6 No-Prep Shootout moves to Pine Valley Raceway in Lufkin, Texas, for its 2021 running over the weekend of December 3-4 and plenty of the biggest names in no prep racing will be on the property to try and lay claim to the prize money and paychecks!

The premier motorsport event of the year featuring all-out drag racing, intense roll racing, a dyno challenge, night meet, and more, TX2K has been bringing together enthusiasts for over 20 years. For 2021, the TX2K21 Presented by Bullet Race Engineering event promises to be even bigger than ever and is going down over the weekend of March 18-21 at Houston Raceway Park Powered by Pennzoil in Baytown, Texas.

In 2019, over 25,000 fans attended Houston Raceway Park for TX2K with unmatched energy to witness side by side 230mph roll race battles, ultimate drag race matches, a car show, dyno competion, and a SwimSuit USA Bikini contest… But between all that action the sprawling Sponsor Midway stays packed full of spectators and racers looking for aftermarket parts, accessories, apparel, and more.  TX2K20 was shaping up to be even bigger until COVID19 changed our lives forever.  As we start planning TX2K21, we are confident that it will be our biggest event yet, even at 50% capacity at HRP.
