Kyle Larson has been chasing Jonathan Davenport at dirt tracks around America for nearly three years now. And soon, the two drivers will race together in the NASCAR Cup Series at Bristol Motor Speedway.

The first race under the Solid Rock Carriers CARS Tour’s new ownership group provided plenty of thrills for both drivers and fans.

Ocala, Florida resident and Top Fuel standout driver Josh Hart drove his R+L Carriers Top Fuel dragster to Pep Boys Top Fuel Allstar Callout victory and an $80,000 payday on Saturday at Gainesville Raceway. It was Hart’s first appearance in a big money specialty race and the 2021 Gatornationals winner took out Austin Prock, Brittany Force and Mike Salinas enroute to the win to start the 2023 NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series season.

The NHRA FuelTech Pro Mod Racing Series presented by Type A Motors kicked off their 2023 season at the Gator Nationals at Gainesville Raceway. Sixteen of the best Pro Mod drivers in the country showed up for the season opener and they made one qualifying attempt before the rain washed out the remainder of the show.

The fans who jammed Gainesville Raceway for the opening day of pro qualifying at the 54th annual Amalie Motor Oil NHRA Gatornationals got more than what they paid for with a thrilling day of qualifying for the season-opening event in the Camping World NHRA Drag Racing Series.

The 2023 CARS Tour season kicks off Saturday at Kenly, North Carolina’s Southern National Motorsports Park for both the Late Model Stock Car and Pro Late Model divisions, and it will do so live on FloRacing for the first time.
